SRMJEE 2026 Exam Pattern
The SRMJEEE 2026 (SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination) will be conducted in online mode (Remote Proctored Online Test) for admission into B.Tech programs at SRM Institute of Science and Technology and its other campuses. The exam consists of 130 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, and English & Aptitude sections.
Each question carries 1 mark, making the total 130 marks. The exam duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes, and there is no negative marking, allowing students to attempt all questions without penalty. This structure aims to test a candidate’s conceptual understanding and problem-solving ability across both technical and reasoning areas.

Eligibility Criteria for SRMJEEE
Eligibility: To be eligible for SRMJEEE 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:
1. Educational Qualifications:
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) from a recognized board, with a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology (depending on the chosen specialization).
- Candidates appearing for Class 12 exams in 2025 are also eligible to apply, provided they meet the eligibility criteria by the time of admission.
2. Age Limit:
- Candidates must be born on or after July 1, 2004.
3. Subject Requirements:
- For B.Tech in Engineering: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are compulsory.
- For B.Tech in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, and related programs: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology may be considered as part of the exam.

- Open Webpage as earlier https://applications.srmist.edu.in/
- Login with: Registered Email and Password
- Select Desired Course
- Click on “APPLY ON”
- Now Application Form will appear on screen
- Complete “CATEGORY DETAILS”
- First fill in “COURSE SELECTION” and click on NEXT

- Select Program (Course Applying For from Drop Down Menu)
- Test City Preference (3 Preference are there, select one by one from Drop Down Menu)
- First fill in “APPLICANT DETAILS” and click on NEXT

- Complete “PARENT’S DETAILS” and click on NEXT
- Fill “ADDRESS DETAILS” and click on NEXT
- Complete “ACADEMIC DETAILS” and click on NEXT
SRMJEEE Application Fee
The fee for SRMJEEE 2026 registration is INR 1400. If you intend to do the test more than once, then the cost for every extra try will be INR 600, resulting in a total of Rs. 1200 for the initial trial and another Rs. 600 for every next trial.
SRM Counseling Process
The institute conducts counselling for admission of the deserving, SRMJEEE 2026 qualified candidates. Students will be called for SRMJEEE counselling as per the schedule which will be released after the announcement of the result.
During SRMJEEE 2026 counselling, students will have to be present physically at the institute on the assigned date and time. Students will be offered seats on the basis of their ranks in the entrance exam, the preferred choice of branch & campus and the availability of seats.
