JAC Chandigarh Eligibility Criteria 2025
The JAC Chandigarh eligibility criteria for 2025 are based on academic qualifications and JEE Main 2025 participation. Candidates must meet the required performance criteria to participate in the counselling process.
β Eligibility Criteria
1. Entrance Examination
Candidates must have appeared in JEE (Main) 2025, conducted by the NTA.
2. Year of Passing
Candidates are eligible if they have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) in 2023, 2024, or are appearing in 2025. Those passing before 2023 or after 2025 are not eligible.
3. Academic Requirements
For B.E./Integrated B.E.-MBA:
- β’ Passed 10+2 with five subjects including Language, Physics, Mathematics, one of Chemistry/Biology/Biotech/Vocational Subject, and one additional subject.
- β’ Or passed 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics.
For B.Arch:
- β’ 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry/Biology/CS/IT/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies, with minimum 45%.
- β’ Or 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics and 45%.
π Category & Quota Clarification
- β’ Panjab University (PU) institutes do not offer OBC reservation.
- β’ OBC candidates may apply under the BC category but must meet PU's BC norms with valid Non-Creamy Layer certificates.
- β’ Chandigarh Quota is applicable only for CCET and CCA, and only for students who passed Class 12 from institutions located in Chandigarh.
- β’ Other institutions fall under the Outside Chandigarh Quota.

The JAC Chandigarh counselling 2025 will be conducted in five rounds to ensure maximum seat allocation:
