COMEDK UGET 2026 – Complete Guide for Engineering & Architecture Admissions

Engineering Programmes (Through COMEDK CBT Exam)

Candidates qualifying COMEDK UGET 2026 Computer Based Test are eligible for:

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)
• Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.)

These programmes are offered by approximately 150+ COMEDK-affiliated private engineering colleges in Karnataka.

Architecture Programme (Without COMEDK CBT Exam)

Admission to Architecture is handled differently under COMEDK:

• Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.)

Important official policy:

• COMEDK does NOT conduct any entrance test for Architecture admissions
• Candidates must qualify either:
  • National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by Council of Architecture
  • OR Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main Paper 2 – Architecture)

Merit list for B.Arch is prepared using:

• NATA or JEE Architecture score
• Plus qualifying examination marks

Architecture candidates must apply separately for COMEDK counseling as per notification released before seat selection.

Candidates interested only in Architecture do not need to apply for the COMEDK Engineering entrance exam.

Scope of COMEDK UGET 2026

COMEDK UGET 2026 is conducted exclusively for admissions to:

• COMEDK Participating Institutions
• Approved private unaided Engineering and Architecture colleges in Karnataka

Important scope limitations:

• Scores are valid only for Academic Year 2026–27
• COMEDK rank is applicable only for COMEDK counseling quota seats
• Admissions outside COMEDK participating institutions are not covered

Merit-Based Admission Framework

COMEDK follows a centralized, merit-driven admission model:

• Engineering seat allotment is based on COMEDK UGET rank
• Architecture seat allotment is based on NATA/JEE Architecture merit
• Candidate preferences, seat availability and eligibility rules apply
• Online single-window counseling is mandatory

There is no offline or direct institutional admission through COMEDK quota.

COMEDK Architecture Exam Policy

• COMEDK does NOT conduct any entrance exam for Architecture
• Architecture candidates must apply separately for COMEDK counseling
• Candidates applying only for Architecture do not need to register for COMEDK Engineering CBT exam

Board Restriction Rule (Architecture)

• All qualifying subjects must be passed from one single board only
• Mixing marks cards from different boards is not permitted

Regulatory Authority Updates Clause

COMEDK follows regulatory authority directions:

Any eligibility changes notified by:

• AICTE
• VTU
• Council of Architecture (COA)
• Other competent authorities

will be adopted before rank generation.

After rank publication, eligibility rules will not be changed.

Rank Card Eligibility Condition

Rank cards are issued only to candidates who:

• Meet academic eligibility requirements
• Qualify the applicable entrance pathway
• Fulfill regulatory authority norms

Application Correction Window

Only limited fields such as photo, signature, category and academic details can be edited. Critical details like name, mobile number and test city cannot be changed.

Admit Card (Test Admission Ticket) Schedule

Candidates must download and print the admit card from their login portal. No hard copies will be sent.

COMEDK UGET 2026 Examination Date

Engineering Entrance Examination Date: 09 May 2026 (Saturday)

The exam will be conducted across 200+ cities and 400+ test centers in computer-based mode.

Answer Key and Objection Timeline

Candidates can challenge provisional answer keys through the official portal by paying the prescribed objection fee.

Result and Scorecard Schedule

Availability of online scorecards: 26 May 2026 (Tuesday)

Rank cards will be generated only for eligible candidates who score above zero marks.

How to Download COMEDK UGET Admit Card

Candidates must follow these steps:

• Login using Application Number (User ID) and Password
• Access the "Test Admission Ticket" section
• Download the admit card PDF
• Take a clear printout for exam day use
• Preserve the TAT until admission and counseling are completed

Mandatory Documents to Carry on Exam Day

Candidates must bring the following to the test center:

• Printed copy of COMEDK UGET 2026 Test Admission Ticket
• Original Unique Photo ID Proof (same ID used during application)
• Two recent passport size color photographs (not older than three months)

Failure to produce any of the above documents will result in denial of entry to the examination hall.

Choice Filling Process

Seat Acceptance Rules
