1. NEET UG Qualification

•    Admission to all AIIMS MBBS courses is through NEET-UG.

•    Candidates must score high to be eligible for AIIMS (e.g., 680+ for AIIMS Delhi).

2. Registration at MCC Portal

•    Visit: www.mcc.nic.in

•    Pay counselling and security fees

•    Upload required documents

3. AIIMS Seat Matrix

•    Total MBBS seats across all AIIMS: 2,207+

•    Top campuses: AIIMS Delhi, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Bhopal, Rishikesh

4. Choice Filling & Locking

•    Choose and prioritize AIIMS colleges

•    Lock choices before deadline

5. Seat Allotment

•    Conducted in 4–5 rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-up, Stray Vacancy

•    Options: Freeze, Float, or Exit

6. Reporting & Document Verification

AIIMS Admission for Foreign Students

AIIMS New Delhi offers limited MBBS seats for foreign nationals, typically through nominations by the Government of India (Ministry of External Affairs). For most candidates, eligibility includes a high school equivalent qualification in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with high academic performance. Foreign students must also submit a medical fitness certificate and comply with all documentation requirements. There are no NRI/management quota seats, and admissions are not granted directly—selection is strictly based on NEET-UG scores or government nominations, depending on the category.

What Is the AIIMS MBBS Acceptance Rate?

The acceptance rate for AIIMS MBBS is extremely low, making it one of the most competitive medical entrance processes in the country. Out of over 20 lakh NEET-UG aspirants, only about 2,200 students secure a seat across all AIIMS campuses combined. This translates to an acceptance rate of less than 0.12%. For top AIIMS campuses like New Delhi or Jodhpur, candidates typically need to score above 680+ in NEET UG to stand a real chance of admission.
