The Common Entrance Test (CET) 2025 is being conducted by the Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research (SVNIRTAR), Cuttack, for admission into four premier undergraduate rehabilitation science programs: Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT), Bachelor in Prosthetics and Orthotics (BPO), and Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP).

These professional courses are offered by leading government institutes under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India. Eligibility Criteria for CET 2025

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility conditions to apply for CET 2025:

•    Must be an Indian citizen.

•    Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as core subjects.

•    A minimum aggregate of 50% marks (may vary by category) is usually required.

•    Candidates must be medically fit and should produce a medical fitness certificate during counselling.

•    For BASLP, English may be a mandatory subject in 10+2 (as per RCI norms).

•    Age criteria and domicile may apply as per institute norms mentioned in the official brochure.

Application Process for CET 2025

The application for CET 2025 can be completed only through online mode via the official website: https://admission.svnirtar.nic.in. Candidates must:

•    Register using their basic details such as name, email ID, and mobile number.

Counselling and Admission Process

Admission will be conducted in multiple rounds, including three online rounds followed by a mop-up (offline) round at SVNIRTAR, Cuttack. The counselling process includes:

•    Online choice filling and locking based on rank and preference.

•    Declaration of provisional seat allotment.

•    Payment of seat acceptance fee of ₹10,000 (exempted for PwD candidates with UDID card).

•    Physical verification of documents at the allotted institute.

•    Confirmation of admission and commencement of academic session.

Candidates who fail to report or complete the admission process during allotted dates may lose their seat.
