Delhi Govt Announces RIMC Admission 2026 Schedule, Exam Slated for December 7

The Delhi government has commenced the application process for students wishing to enroll in the Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) in Dehradun for the July 2026 term. As per a recent notice released by the Directorate of Education, the entrance examination will be held in Delhi on December 7. RIMC is a prestigious military institution located in the Doon Valley that trains students for roles in the Indian Armed Forces.

Eligibility for RIMC Admissions 2026: 

Age According to the notice, applicants must be at least 11 and a half years of age but not exceed 13 years old as of July 1, 2026. This indicates that individuals born between July 2, 2013, and January 1, 2015, qualify to apply. Applications are accepted from both boys and girls.

Moreover, candidates should currently be in Class 7 or have completed Class 7 from an accredited school by the time of admission. The notice mentions that application forms can be acquired by submitting a demand draft of Rs 600 (or Rs 555 for SC/ST applicants who present a caste certificate) or by applying online via the link provided in the announcement.

All completed application forms, along with necessary documents, must be submitted to the examination cell of the Directorate of Education by October 15. The Directorate of Education has emphasized that only the official forms issued by the RIMC with its official hologram will be accepted. Applications made using photocopied or locally printed forms will not be considered.
