What Does This Mean for NEET UG 2025 Aspirants?

The announcement is a green signal for students who have been eagerly waiting to take the next step after qualifying NEET UG 2025. With this schedule in hand, aspirants should begin preparing their documents, shortlisting colleges, and getting ready for the online choice filling process.

This year, MCC counselling will cover:

  • 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government colleges
  • 100% seats in Deemed and Central Universities
  • Seats in ESIC, AIIMS, JIPMER, and AFMC
  • Coordination with State Authorities for State Quota (85%) and Private Colleges

Each state (like Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, etc.) will release separate counselling notifications for their respective quotas under their state medical universities (e.g., KNRUHS, KEA, DMER, etc.).
