Romania Scholarships for Indian Students: Apply by March 12, 2025

Indian students now have the opportunity to pursue Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs in Romania through fully funded scholarships for the 2025-26 academic year. The Embassy of Romania has opened applications for this scholarship program, covering tuition fees and other expenses across multiple fields, except Medicine, Dental Medicine, and Pharmacy.

Eligibility Criteria for Romania Scholarships

To be eligible for the Romania Scholarship for Indian Students, applicants must:

• Submit a complete application through the official Study in Romania platform at studyinromania.gov.ro.

• Hold valid academic certificates from recognized institutions.

• Meet the application submission deadlines.

• Have a minimum academic score of 7 (Good) as per the Romanian grading system.

• Adhere to the official application methodology.

Application Process

• Deadline: March 12, 2025

• Submission: Online via studyinromania.gov.ro under "Apply for MFA Scholarships".

• Selection Process: The Ministry of Education, Government of India, is not involved in nominations or selections. The final decision is made by the Romanian Government.

Language Requirements

• Undergraduate and master's applicants must study in Romanian unless exempt.

• Doctoral candidates may study in Romanian or a foreign language depending on the doctoral school.

• Exemptions from the Romanian language preparatory year apply to: 

 Students with Romanian study certificates.

 Those who have completed at least four years of education in Romanian.

 Candidates with a B1-level Romanian language certificate.
