For Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM)
The Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPM AT) is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management Indore for admission to its Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM). For the IPM 2026โ31 batch, the IPM AT will be conducted on Monday, 4 May 2026, in the afternoon shift, as announced on the official IPM Admissions Details page of IIM Indore. The IPM AT score will be used by IIM Indore and by other participating institutions for admission to their respective programmes.

๐ Eligibility Criteria โ Domestic Applicants

Age Requirement (IPM Admission Procedure 2025โ30)
- Candidate must have been born on or after 01 August 2005
- Relaxation of five years for SC, ST, and PwD categories (born on or after 01 August 2000)
๐ Educational Qualification
- Passed Class XII / HSC or equivalent examination in 2023 or 2024
- Or be appearing for Class XII in 2025
- Passed Class X / SSC or equivalent examination
- Candidates appearing in Class XII may be offered provisional admission, subject to submission of all required documents at the time of registration
๐ Boards and Equivalence
- Candidates from all Indian boards (CBSE, ISC, State Boards) are eligible
- Candidates from international boards such as IGCSE and IB (IBDP and IBCP only) are also eligible
- Such candidates must submit the IB Indian Percentage Transcript where applicable
- The aggregate percentage of marks is calculated using all subjects listed on the marksheet, irrespective of board-specific rules
- Where grades are awarded, conversion to percentage must be certified by the board or competent authority
- IIM Indore reserves the right to determine equivalence and eligibility
๐ Application Process โ Domestic Applicants
Eligible candidates must apply online through the official IIM Indore website within the application window notified by the institute. For the IPM 2025 admission cycle, the application window was from 14 February to 27 March. The IPMAT 2026 application timeline is expected to follow a similar schedule unless revised through official notification.
- Application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable

- Once the application is submitted, no change in category is permitted

- Quantitative Ability (Multiple Choice Questions)

- Each section duration: 40 minutes

- Each correct answer: 4 marks
- Each incorrect answer: 1 negative mark

- 65% weightage to Aptitude Test Score
- 35% weightage to Personal Interview
- Final admission offers are made category-wise, strictly following Government of India reservation norms

IPM Programme Overview
Candidates who clear IPMAT 2026 and complete the admission process are admitted to the Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) at IIM Indore. The programme is structured across 15 terms over 5 years, with three terms per academic year. It is a fully residential programme meant to build strong analytical foundations, social awareness, and managerial competence.
The programme leads to the award of two degrees upon successful completion:

๏ท Master of Business Administration (MBA) after completion of the final two years
The programme is governed under the Indian Institutes of Management Act, 2017.

Years 1 to 3: IPM Phase (Foundational Years)
The first three years focus on building strong intellectual and analytical foundations. The curriculum integrates multiple disciplines and is significantly more rigorous than conventional undergraduate programmes.

- IPM students participate in the same summer and final placements
There is no academic or placement distinction between IPM and PGP students during these years.

๐ซ Domestic Students (Through IPM AT)
For students admitted through IPMAT :
- The course fee for each of the first three years of the IPM programme is โน6,00,000 per year
- Additional charges include medical insurance, mess deposit and a refundable caution deposit
- The approximate total outlay for the first three years is โน18.6 to โน19 lakh
The caution deposit is refundable upon completion of the five-year programme. Mess deposits are adjusted against actual mess expenses.

- The course fee is โน9,00,000 per year for each of the first three years
- The approximate total outlay for the first three years is โน28 to โน29 lakh

For Years 4 and 5, the programme fee is exactly the same as the MBA (PGP) fee of IIM Indore applicable for that academic year.
