Mode of Admission for B.Tech at JUIT

JUIT follows a dual-mode admission process for B.Tech programs:

1.    JEE Main Rank-Based Admission: 

o    Most of the seats are filled based on JEE Main rank.

o    Candidates must apply for JUIT counseling separately after appearing for JEE Main.

2.    12th Board Merit-Based Admission (Only for Biotechnology): 

o    50% seats in Biotechnology are filled on the basis of 10+2 merit (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Math).

Admission Process for B.Tech at JUIT

The admission process is straightforward and divided into four steps:

Step 1: Application Submission

•    Candidates need to apply online through the official JUIT website or offline via university offices.

•    Application forms are available for both JEE Main-based admissions and direct 10+2 merit-based admission for Biotechnology.

Step 2: Selection Process

•    Candidates who applied via JEE Main will be ranked based on their JEE Main score.

•    Biotechnology applicants will be evaluated based on Class 12th board exam results.

Step 3: Merit List & Counselling

•    A merit list will be prepared based on JEE Main rank or 10+2 merit (for Biotechnology only).

•    Shortlisted students will be called for counseling and document verification.

Step 4: Seat Allotment & Admission Confirmation

•    Candidates will receive their seat allotment letter after selection.

•    They must pay the admission fee and submit necessary documents to confirm their seat.
