The Uttar Pradesh NEET UG 2026 counselling application form is now live. As per the original notice issued by the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh on 3rd August 2026, Round 1 online registration had opened on 7th August 2026. However, as per the Extended Time Schedule issued vide Notice No. ME-3/2026/1517 dated 12th August 2026, the registration and document upload window has now been extended to 13th August 2026 (11:00 AM) to 14th August 2026 (2:00 PM), with registration fee and security money deposit allowed till 14th August 2026 (5:00 PM). This falls within the national MCC calendar under which state quota Round 1 counselling across states runs from 13th to 22nd August 2026. Merit list, choice filling and seat allotment dates for Round 1 have not been announced yet. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official websites upneet.gov.in and dgme.up.gov.in for the latest updates.

UP NEET UG 2026: Uttar Pradesh has announced its Round 1 counselling schedule for MBBS/BDS courses. The UP NEET UG Counselling 2026 allows suitable candidates the chance to grab a seat in government and private medical/dental colleges in Uttar Pradesh for the 2026–27 session. Eligibility Criteria of UP NEET UG Counselling 2026

To participate, candidates must qualify for NEET UG 2026 and fulfil UP domicile norms (except for NRI/management quota seats).

• Must qualify NEET UG 2026 with the required cutoff percentile.
• Must be a citizen of India and possess a valid UP domicile certificate (except for NRI/management quota).
• Completion of Class 12 with PCB and English is mandatory.
• Minimum marks required:
  • General: 50%
  • OBC/SC/ST: 40%
  • PwD: 45%
• Candidate must be 17 years old by December 31, 2026.

UP NEET UG Counselling 2026: Round-wise Schedule

MBBS Bond Policy in Uttar Pradesh 2026

Candidates seeking MBBS admission in Uttar Pradesh should understand the applicable service bond, penalty and discontinuation conditions before taking admission.

Note: As per the available bond-policy data, applicable MBBS candidates in Uttar Pradesh are required to complete a 2-year service obligation, with a ₹10 Lakhs penalty for non-compliance. The discontinuation penalty is listed as ₹1 Lakh plus the applicable entire course fees. Candidates should verify the latest 2026-27 admission notification and bond conditions before taking admission.

UP NEET Counselling Fee & Security Deposit (2026, Official)

Candidates need to pay a non-refundable application fee and a refundable security deposit. As per the official DGME UP Round 1 notice dated 3rd August 2026 (registration window subsequently extended vide Notice No. ME-3/2026/1517 dated 12th August 2026), a registration fee of ₹2,000 and a category-wise refundable security deposit (₹30,000 for government seats up to ₹2,00,000 for private medical seats) have been prescribed. The security deposit varies depending on the type of college and is essential to secure the seat.

UP NEET Counselling Registration Fee

This is a mandatory, non-refundable fee that must be paid at the time of online registration for each round of counselling.
